Rep. Brandon Vick appointed to the Washington State Gambling Commission

Rep. Brandon Vick, R-Felida, has been appointed to the Washington State Gambling Commission. The commission is a limited-jurisdiction, statewide law enforcement agency responsible for gambling licensing as well as the enforcement and regulation of gambling.

“I am honored to have been chosen to serve on the Washington State Gambling Commission, and am looking forward to working more closely on issues affecting the ever-evolving gambling industry,” said Vick. “I have followed the work of the commission in recent years, and it's important it continues to foster fair and responsible regulation and enforcement standards for all Washingtonians.”

Vick currently serves on the House Commerce and Gaming Committee, which covers issues related to the regulation and oversight of gaming as well as commerce in alcohol, tobacco and cannabis.
